Indianapolis International Airport (IND) – IAA Airfield
As part of airfield infrastructure upgrades at Indianapolis International Airport, this canopy structure was designed to cover and protect above-ground fuel tanks and operations equipment. The project required precision fabrication for curved structural elements and coordination around large, pre-installed fuel systems.
Waukegan Steel provided custom steel fabrication for aviation infrastructure, supplying structural steel for the canopy and support framing. The design demanded both architectural precision and structural performance to meet aviation safety and environmental standards.
